White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt teased Trump’s upcoming speech to a group of reporters on Tuesday, saying he will talk about the “historic accomplishments” his administration has made over the past year and what is expected to happen next.
“It’s going to be a really good speech. I was just in the Oval Office with the president discussing it. He’s going to talk a lot about the accomplishments of the last 11 months, everything he’s done to return our country to greatness and everything he still plans to do to continue to deliver for the American people over the next three years,” Leavitt said.
In an interview with Fox News on Tuesday, Leavitt said Trump is likely to talk about issues such as border security and the economy.
“President Trump will talk about what’s to come. The best really is yet to come, as he often says,” he said on Fox News, adding that he could be “hinting at some policy to come” over the next year.
