A $1.25 billion Powerball jackpot is up for grabs Wednesday night, with a cash value of $572.1 million, after no winner was selected Monday.
This is the sixth largest prize ever awarded to the game, according to Powerball. The largest prize in history was $2.04 billion won on November 7, 2022.
The Powerball jackpot was last held on Monday night, when no tickets matched the five white balls (23, 35, 59, 63, 68) and the red Powerball 2.
The Powerball jackpot was last won on September 6 with two tickets in Missouri and Texas splitting a $1.787 million prize. There have been 43 consecutive drawings without jackpots.

If a player wins on Wednesday night, they will have the option to choose between annual payments worth an estimated $1.25 billion or an immediate lump sum payment of $572.1 million.
According to Powerball, the odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million.
The drawing will take place shortly before 11 pm ET at the Florida Lottery drawing studio in Tallahassee.
Powerball tickets cost $2 per play.
