London-the North Korean leader Kim Jong a supervised the test of two types of newly developed missiles, state media reported, the releases that occurred when the United States and South Korea maintained their annual military exercises to the south.
The two missile missiles on Saturday were designed to attack aerial threats, including attack drones and cruise missiles, the Central News Agency of Korea reported Sunday.
The state media reported few details about the projectiles, apart from describing them as “improved” versions, saying that they were “based on unique and special technology.”

The releases occurred days after the start of Monday of “Ulchi Freedom Shield 25”, joint military exercises that are ongoing in South Korea. Those training exercises, which include living fire exercises, were scheduled to run until Thursday.
The US State Department, announcing that the drills had begun said they intended to reaffirm “Ironclad’s commitment between the United States and South Korea to defend their homelands.”
A military official from North Korea described those exercises as destabilizers for the Korean Peninsula, accusing the United States and South Korea of ”the destruction of the balance of power in the region.”

An army spokesman Korean people told Rodong Sinmun, a state newspaper, that the “reckless” drills were being executed by “bellicists”, adding that the exercises were pushing the Korean peninsula to an “extreme tension.”
The state media of North Korea published an image of the Kim meeting with military officers on Sunday, along with several missile images in the air. It was not clear immediately where missile tests took place.
When the exercises began on Monday, Kim was touring a naval destroyer of North Korea, Kcna reported. According to the reports, he said during that visit that the exercises of South Korea of the United States could “light a war” and that North Korea should press for a “rapid expansion of nuclearization.”
