NATO stir the airplanes while Russia launches more than 500 drones, missiles in Ukraine

London – Russia launched more than 500 drones and missiles to Ukraine during the night until Wednesday morning, according to the Ukraine Air Force, with explosions reported throughout the west of the country and NATO planes that extend along the border in Poland.

Russia launched 502 attack and lure drones plus 24 missiles in the last night flood, said the Ukraine Air Force in a telegram post. The defended forces knocked or suppressed 430 drones and 21 missiles, said the Air Force.

The impacts of 69 drones and three missiles were recorded in 14 locations, said the Air Force, with debris that fall into the fallen ammunition reported in 14 locations.

The alluvion seemed to point to several Ukrainian regions, with local authorities that reported explosions in the western regions of Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk and Lutsk. Tymur Tkachenko, head of the administration of the city of kyiv, said at least one drone crashed in the capital.

The mayor of Lviv, Andriy Sadovyi, said that 15 Russian drones attacked the city, which is about 40 miles from the Polish border. A warehouse was “partially destroyed,” said Sadovyi, without victims reports.

In Lutsk, Mayor Ihor Polishchuk said drones caused damage to “civil infrastructure.”

Svitlana Onyshchuk, head of the Military Administration of Ivano-Frankivsk, said the attacks caused a fire in an industrial site that caused the deployment of 130 emergency personnel. Onyshchuk did not report that there are no casualties.

The Ukrainian president, VolodyMyr Zelenskyy, told social networks that the “mass attack” attacked “civil infrastructure, particularly energy facilities, a transport center, even a garage cooperative and, as it has become routine for the residential areas of the Russians, the residential areas.”

“These are clearly demonstrating Russians,” he added. Russian President Vladimir Putin “is showing his impunity,” Zelenskyy wrote, adding: “It is only due to the lack of sufficient pressure, mainly in the War Economy of Russia, which this aggression continues.”

On the other side of the border in Poland, the NATO aircraft was air in the middle of the attack.

The operational command of the Polatic Armed Forces said in a position to X that the airplanes were deployed in response to the “Russian attacks in the facilities located in the territory of Ukraine.”

“In our airspace, Polish and allied airplanes work intensely, while air defense systems and radar recognition on land have reached a state of maximum preparation,” reads the statement.

NATO forces in Poland returned to a normal level of preparation after about four hours with the conclusion of Russian attacks, the command said in a follow -up post.

Russia continues with its night bombings of Ukraine despite the peace efforts led by the United States, and regardless of repeated Putin warnings of US President Donald Trump about long -range attacks.

Although August saw a decrease in Russian attacks compared to a July July, two weeks after the Trump-Poutin summit in Alaska saw a notable increase in the scale of Russian attacks throughout Ukraine.

There were several high victims events during the month, perhaps more remarkably the flood of drones and missiles in kyiv who killed at least 23 people on the night of August 27 to 28.

Ukraine continues its own long -range strike campaign in Russia.

On Wednesday, the Ministry of Defense in Moscow said its forces knocked at least 105 Ukrainian drones during the night.

Zelenskyy said on Monday that kyiv intends to expand such attacks, that Ukrainian officials and commanders have framed as a means to undermine Moscow’s war effort and force Kremlin to genuine negotiations.

“We are preparing a technological headquarters that involves Ukrainian missile manufacturers, key types of drones and air defense tools,” Zelenskyy wrote in Telegram. “We will increase the production of our strike media.”
