According to the police, a human hunt is underway for a suspect who stabbed a Ranger in Staunton State Park in Colorado.
The stabbing took place around noon from the local time in the park of almost 4,000 acres to the southwest of Denver, according to the Sheriff’s office of the Jefferson County.
The victim, a Colorado parks and wildlife ranger of Colorado, was carried by emergency aircraft to a hospital, where he underwent surgery, Sheriff’s office said. The ranger appeared in serious condition on Tuesday afternoon, authorities said.

Due to the ongoing search for the suspect, Staunton’s State Park was closed to the public and were evacuating visitors from inside the park, said Parks and Wildlife Officials of Colorado.
