The Hostage and Missing Families Forum, a group advocating on behalf of the families of Gaza hostages, said in a news release Monday that “the families of the hostages and returnees are embracing Omer Neutra’s family,” after Hamas returned the body of the American-Israeli soldier.

“Along with the pain and realization that their hearts will never be complete, Omer’s return provides some comfort to a family that has lived with agonizing uncertainty and doubt for more than two years,” the forum said.
“We will not rest until the last hostage is brought home,” he added.
Neutra was one of three soldiers whose bodies were returned to Israel on Sunday. All three were killed in the Hamas attack on October 7, 2023, and their bodies were seized.
