A senior official of the Department of Justice will meet Thursday with Ghislaine Maxwell, associate by Jeffrey Epstein, in Tallahassee, Florida, familiar with the matter to ABC News.

The meeting between the attached attorney general Todd Blanche and Maxwell is happening at the Tallahassee Center in the Office of the United States Prosecutor, which is within the Federal Justice Palace, said familiar sources with the matter.

Maxwell was sentenced for sex trafficking and other positions and sentenced to 20 years in prison in 2022. She is serving her sentence in a federal prison in Tallahassee.

Blanche arrived at the Federal Court around 9 am et. He shook his head and said “no” when asked if he had something to say before his meeting with Maxwell.

Maxwell’s lawyers were also seen entering the Federal Court in Tallahassee.

“We are anxious for a productive day,” David O. Markus, Maxwell appeal lawyer told ABC News. He declined more comments.

The Department of Justice said earlier this week that the meeting between Blanche and Maxwell would happen “in the next few days.”

“President Trump has told us that we will release all credible evidence. If Ghislaine Maxwell has information about anyone who has committed crimes against the victims, the FBI and the DOJ will listen to what he has to say,” Blanche said in the statement Posted by Attorney General Pam Bondi in X earlier this week.

Maxwell’s lawyer confirmed earlier this week that they were in conversations with the government about the visit, saying in a statement that “Ghislaine will always testify sincerely.”

Separately, on Wednesday, the president of the Chamber’s Supervision Committee, James Eat, issued a citation for Maxwell to take a statement in the prison on August 11.

“The facts and circumstances surrounding the cases of their and Mr. Epstein have received an immense public interest and scrutiny,” he wrote in a statement on Wednesday.
