The Chicago area is preparing for the application of additional immigration during the weekend.
Meanwhile, the governor of Illinois, JB Pritzker and the mayor of Chicago, Brandon Johnson, rejected President Donald Trump on Saturday after the president increased his threats to send federal troops to the city with a meme of social networks.
In a publication on its social media platform, Trump re -struggled an image that places him in front of Chicago that hinted that he was going to take measures against the city, referring to his recent brand change from the Pentagon the “War Department”.
Pritzker criticized Trump and said the president threatened to go to war with the city by publishing the memes.

“This is not normal. Donald Trump is not a strong man, he is a scared man. Illinois will not be intimidated by an aspiring dictator,” Pritzker wrote in an X publication.
Johnson echoed the feeling of the governor, saying that the “threats of the president are below the honor of our nation, but the reality is that he wants to occupy our city and break our Constitution.”
“We must defend our democracy of this authoritarianism protecting and protecting Chicago from Donald Trump,” the mayor wrote in an X position.
A White House spokeswoman criticized Illinois leaders in a statement, citing Chicago murders during the weekend of Labor Day.

“Local Democratic leaders are more annoying for a position of the president, who says everything he needs to know about the twisted priorities of the Democrats,” said Abigail Jackson, a White House spokesman, in a statement to ABC News.
The round trip between Trump and Chicago Democrats has increased during the last week, since the president has promised to intensify the federal application of crimes and the application of immigration, even when deploying the National Guard.
Pritzker warned that there has been an increase in ice agents in the city and that there could be up to 300 ice agents this weekend, according to local officials.
In response to the possibility of an additional ice application, officials in the city of neighboring communities say they are preparing for the increase of agents in communities, according to Gregory Jackson, who serves as head of the Cabinet of Northern Chicago, Illinois. Agents and officials are expected to operate from the Naval Station of the Great Lakes for about 30 days, he said.

Pritzker has delayed the participation of the Trump administration in Chicago, saying “I will not call the president, asking him to send troops to Chicago. I already made it clear,” said Pritzker.
A spokesman for the National Security Department told ABC News that the application is pointing to the “worst of the worst” criminals.
“It is not surprising that these criminals go into mass to sanctuary cities where politicians protect them and allow them to wander in US streets that put American lives at risk,” spokesmen said. “The DHS will go where these illegal criminal foreigners are, including Chicago, Boston and other cities. According to President Trump and Secretary Noem, nowhere there is a safe refuge for illegal criminal foreigners. If you illegally come to our country and break our laws, we will hunt you, we will arrest you, will deport it, and never return.”
