Charlie Kirk, the founder of the Organization of Youth Activists Conservative Turning Point USA, was filmed during an event at the University of Utah Valley on Wednesday, according to sources of application of the law.
A suspect is in custody, according to a school alert.
A single shot on the campus was shot at a visiting speaker, the alert said.

Utah Senator Mike Lee said he is “tracking the situation at the University of Utah Valley closely.”
“Please, unique me to pray for Charlie Kirk and the students gathered there,” he said on social networks.
Vice President JD Vance also said in X: “Say a prayer for Charlie Kirk, a really good guy and a young father.”
