Cassie Ventura’s lawyer is talking about his ex -boyfriend, they are “Diddy” Combs ‘Combs’ Split Victdot, which resulted in an acquittal for three of the most serious positions he faced.
Combs was convicted of two transport positions to participate in prostitution, and did not declare himself guilty of the positions of conspiracy of sexual trafficking and extortion in the Federal Court on Wednesday. Ventura was a key witness in the case of the Prosecutor’s Office against Los Peines.
“All this criminal process began when our Cassie Ventura client had the courage to file his civil complaint in November 2023. Although the jury did not find the peins of sexual trafficking to Cassie beyond a reasonable doubt, he paved the way for a jury to find him guilty of transport in prostitution,” said Douglas H. Wigdor, who represented Ventura, in a statement.
Wigdor continued: “When presenting his experience, Cassie has left an indelible brand in both the entertainment industry and in the struggle for justice. We must repeat, without reservations, that we believe and support our client that showed an exemplary courage during this trial.”

Wigdor praised the “unquestionable force” of Ventura shown by his testimony and added that “he caught attention to the realities of powerful men in our orbit and the misconduct that has persisted for decades without repercussion.”
“This case showed that the change is very late, and we will continue to fight on behalf of the survivors,” Wigdor concluded.

Wigdor also spoke with journalists outside the court on Wednesday. “She is in a good place,” he said.
“I was happy that they have been convicted and responsible for federal crimes, something that has never been responsible [for] In all his life, “Wigdor added.
“It still faces a substantial jail time. Of course, we would have liked to have seen a conviction for sexual and rich crimes, but we understand that beyond reasonable doubt it is a high level, and we are pleased that a substantial jail time still faces,” he told the journalists.
On Wednesday, combs, 55, was declared guilty of two of five positions in a divided verdict Reached by a jury in New York City.
The jury found the guilty combs of two transport positions to participate in prostitution, in relation to his ex -girlfriend and his ex -girlfriend they testified under the pseudonym “Jane”.
Ventura took the witness position in the first week of trial to testify in their relationship with combs that, according to their testimony, included episodes of violence and the so -called “fans”, frequent sex with male escorts in the direction of combs.
The singer affirmed in her testimony that ComBs, who had signed Ventura to Bad Boy’s records, took control of her personal and professional life and demanded that she orchestrated the drug festivals fed with drugs.

Ventura filed a civil lawsuit in November 2023, accusing the combs of sexual trafficking and sexual aggression, according to judicial documents. The demand was resolved the next day for what Ventura testified was $ 20 million.
At that time, combs and Ventura said they established the demand “friendly.”
A combing lawyer at that time also issued a statement that said that the decision to resolve the lawsuit was not an admission of any irregularity.
As of May 2025, the music tycoon spent seven weeks in trial for sex trafficking and racketeering. Comps was accused of being the leader of an alleged company that “abused, threatened and coerced women” in prolonged sexual orgies and drug fed with male prostitutes, which called “monsters”, and then threatened them in silence.
Combs has said that all sex was consensual and that while their relationships sometimes involved domestic violence, it was not involved in trafficking.
